Westerfors & Medbo Ingenjörsbyrå is a consultant company that was founded in July 1995, the company is owned by Mats Westerfors and Bengt Medbo. Our fundamental business strategy is building long-term client relationships. With 10 years in the industry, we have attracted and retained clients by providing superior customer value. In fact, over 90 percent of our work is repeat business from loyal clients.

We have many years of experience in thermodynamics, fluid flow and stress analysis of new and existing components and systems. One of our key areas is thermal design of heat exchangers, in this area we have performed thermal and structural strength analysis since 1986 to industries all over Europe.

We also offer complete projects such as project management, purchase, installation qualification and commissioning, as part of our customers project organisation or as individual actors on behalf of our customers. We have several years of experience in process design and validation in the pharmaceutical industry.

Our customers are mainly large and middle size companies in Europe such as Jaakko Pöyry, Stora Enso, Martin Larsson, Chematur Engineering, NovAseptic, Edmeston, Semcon, Kvaerner Pulping, Akzo Nobel and Forsmarks Kraftgrupp.
